Anyway, I checked with the sales assistant who said they should actually be £27 but as it was their labelling error I could have them for £17. Boom! It's not unusual for shops to honour the price on the item but you can never assume they will be this accommodating.
And before I forget, White Stuff do lovely shoes and handbags - so, if it's a shop that you've never ventured into before, it's worth taking a look. And they usually have pots of tea on the go in the winter which you can help yourself to - free of charge.
Anyway, these beauties are fur lined so very cosy for cold mornings and they are extremely comfy too which is good for the running about I tend to have to do on a Friday at my office job.
So, whilst in the shower, I put together, in my head, the outfit that I thought would work with my furry pumps.
The only downside was that I knew my blue shirt needed ironing and the car needed defrosting and it was already 8.10am. But I wasn't going to let that stop me. I halved the time ironing my shirt by pretty much only ironing the bits of the shirt that would be sticking out of the jumper. I then got dressed, ran downstairs, started the car so it would defrost and then darted back upstairs to apply my make-up. My mirror is on the window sill so I was able to keep an eye on my car in case anyone attempted to steal it - why they would, goodness knows, but it would've been very inconvenient if they had.
Anyway, I managed to leave the house on time (8.30am) and here's the outfit.
Before I go, I thought I would show you some pictures of me looking like one very stylish bird! This is what I wore for the Polar Bear Plunge on New Years Day. Was the water cold? OMG it was icy cold! I have never been that cold, like EVER, but it was such great fun and the day raised over £5k for charity!
