Now, before you scroll down searching for them (or me) dressed in the latest styles, this is not your typical Styled by Mel blog. I've spoken to the boss of the blog (she’s the one who looks a bit like Mystic Meg minus the crystal ball) and she says it's absolutely fine to go off-piste with this post - so, here goes!
Are you sitting comfortably? I shall begin...
Once upon a time, there was a princess (chef) called Nicky. She married a handsome prince (solicitor) and they had a family. She wanted to protect her family from the ravages of eating too many sugary cereals and so set about creating a tasty and healthy range of granola for them to enjoy. They loved it and because the ingredients used were all natural and good for you, her family grew big and strong! Very soon, everybody in the enchanted kingdom of St Albans wanted to try some. So, chef Nicky had to work really hard, day and night, to make batches and batches of the yummy stuff to sell on her market stall. And soon, she had to start making even more granola so that the shopkeepers and restaurants could sell it to their customers too.
My favourite from Dizzy Bee Kitchen is the Fabulously Fruity granola and I have been known to eat two or three servings in one sitting!

Once upon another time, in the same enchanted kingdom, there lived a lady who was a drummer (aromatherapist) called Laura. She and her friend, Dominique, had a plan to produce some candles that were 100% natural, non-carcinogenic, scented with essential oils and that would be beautifully designed and packaged.
The two bright sparks would discuss their plans whilst walking around Heartwood Forest and in 2013, they launched The Heartwood Candle Co (see what they did there!?).
One day, I was telling Laura how my other half (you all know him as Mr.B) was allergic to most things that are (artificially) perfumed. As a general rule, the cheaper the perfume I wear, the more swollen and itchy his throat and neck will become and so perfumed cleaning products and candles are also a no, no in our house. Not the end of the world admittedly, but when I have a styling session at my house, I love to burn a candle and make the room smell nice, especially if I've cooked the night before - I'm no Mary Berry! So, Heartwood Candle Co to the rescue! The candle gently scents the room and Mr.B doesn’t end up resembling something similar to a hamster with what look like stuffed pouches under his chin. Result.

I know there are many more amazing business ladies in this here wonderful city of ours (and beyond), so feel free to give yourself or someone else a shout-out in the comments below or on the Facebook post.
I'll be back next week with a post showing me wearing clothes that are nice which you can buy from the shops. Really sold that to you haven't I?!
